Intellectual Property for Blue Innovation

This course provides students with the toolbox needed to develop entrepreneurship and innovation related to marine resources.

For 2nd year students focus will be given on advanced entrepreneurship skills:
-    Business plan financial test
-    Product feasibility and readiness
-    Human performance as a transformation leader
-    Intellectual property (IP) and technology transfer

Final Competencies

1  Assess a business issue and formulate solutions.

2  Develop a robust business deck arising from marine resources.

3  Demonstrate awareness of ethical considerations.

4  Be able to launch a startup and anticipate the risks they could face.

5  Behave as entrepreneur in a competing stressful environment.
