Voluntary Work in the Solidarity Space

The University of Oviedo recognises 1 ECTS credit per 25 hours dedicated to voluntary work, up to 6 ECTS credits, with a maximum of 3 credits per academic year. In this moment there are 66 entities (NGOs, Red Cross, others) that collaborate with the Program of Voluntary Work of UNIOVI. They are listed here http://www.uniovi.es/vida/solidario/voluntariado. Other NGOs related with ocean conservation will be also considered.

Pre-requisites: The only requirement for being a voluntary worker of the University of Oviedo is being willing to dedicate part of your time to any enterprise that benefit society.

Evaluation: Report by the person who directs the voluntary work in its corresponding organisation and a report from the Director of the Area of Social Projection of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students, or from the UNIOVI Master’s Academic Board.
