The University of Oviedo recognizes 1 ECTS credit per 25 hours dedicated to voluntary work, up to 6 ECTS credits, with a maximum of 3 credits per academic year. In this moment there are 66 entities (NGOs, Red Cross, others) that collaborate with the Program of Voluntary Work of UNIOVI. They are listed here http://www.uniovi.es/vida/solidario/voluntariado. Other NGOs related with ocean conservation will be also considered

Initial competences

The only requirement for being a voluntary worker of the University of Oviedo is being willing to dedicate part of your time to any enterprise that benefit society.

Extra information on the examination methods

Report by the person who directs the voluntary work in its corresponding organisation and a report from the Director of the Area of Social Projection of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students, or from the UNIOVI Master’s Academic Board.
