How to apply

IMBRSea call for applications for Cohort2026 are open!!
The call will close on February 15th 2026 at 16h CET.

Applications are completed by utilizing the online application form. The application form, along with all required documents must be in English! Applicants will be informed via e-mail about the selection outcome. Results will become available during the end of April 2026 - exact date will be communicated to all applicants at a later stage.

During the application, students are required to indicate and motivate their desired study mobility. Applicants must carefully read the information available in the application form, and must consult the study offer and the syllabus of the courses offered at each minor and major of specialization (see https://www.imbrsea.eu/home-4).

Upon admission to the program, you will receive an invitation to pay the first part of the tuition fee (TF1y1= 1000 €) to secure your place in the programme. The exact payment deadline will be communicated by the IMBRSea central coordination office, but is usually set one month after the selection outcome. The second part of the tuition fee (TF2y1) must be paid before the end of August 2026. Please check https://www.imbrsea.eu/costs for more details.

 

Application requirements checklist: 

  • Valid passport or ID-card
  • Europass CV
  • Higher Education degree and transcript of records
  • Language proficiency documentation
  • Contact details of at least 2 academic referees + reference letters from the referees 
  • Motivation letter
  • Other relevant documentation 

 

Erasmus Mundus Scholarships:

Unfortunately, we currently do not have Erasmus Mundus scholarships available. Full tuition-fee waivers are also not available at this moment.  

 

Deadlines and important dates:

  • The call will be open from 1st December 2025 until 15th February 2026 (4 pm CET)
  • Applicants will be informed on the selection outcome during the second half of April 2026.
