Diana obtained a Master's degree in Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea) at Ghent University. Her master thesis was focused on the presence of microplastics in marine macrophytes for the possible use in bioremediation.  Diana has previous experience working as Fishery Control Analyst for the Ecuadorian Government.
