The annual IMBRSea’s "Diving into Marine Minds" Symposium is a very important event for our Master Program. It is where the graduating second-year students and teachers meet to exchange experiences and knowledge. During this symposium, second-year students present their thesis work.
The 2024 edition will take place in Nice, France, from the 1st - 5th July at the Université Côte d'Azur.
Thesis presentations
Thesis presentations will happen on July 3rd and 4th, they will also be streamed live on Youtube and can be accessed through Matix.
Each thesis is presented through an oral presentation followed by a public debate with both thesis evaluators and the public present in the room. Students have 15 minutes to present their thesis followed by a 15 minutes discussion in which questions will be answered.
Evaluation
Thesis presentations account for 25% of the final grade. They are evaluated on the following aspects: Visual appearance, Content, Speaker's capacity, and General approach to the topic.
